that's not gonna work. if it did, it would be one hell of a stretch.

Kirk runs 225's on his 19x8.5's and he says its a nightmare and they look pretty stretched. i doubt a 215 will even stretch enough to fit

I'm running 225/35/19 on a 19x10 and it looks pretty damn good. 8.5 should be no problem and I don't remember there being that much stretch when I had the Rotiforms.

Recommended width for 8.5 is 235 like previously stated, but these tires will work. Just make sure they're the proper load rating for our car. It's not really THAT much stretch. See here:

Some tire brands tend to run larger than others, for example General and Falken. I'm contemplating running 225 in front as well right now to go with a staggered setup (265/30/19 in rear) and have noticed with some tires the stretch is very noticeable, while others you can barely tell. Do a quick google search will yield many images.

Sorry but all u guys that say it won't work are completely wrong, eric the rims are meant for a 235 35 19 they currently have 225 40 19 with is a very minimal stretch honestly the 215 will look and fit fine if u don't mind stretch

just remember all tires stretch diffrently, a 225 35 19 in a falken 512 would look alot more stretched than a 225 35 19 in a michelin pilot sport.

That price is ok, but I work for Conti so of course I would recommend a better brand ;-)
