    Audi dealerships and aftermarket parts

I found some out some great news today that one of the dealers by me will install aftermarket parts and they can also order them for me. I spoke with the manager that handles all the work orders about the labor rate (125 per hour) and warranty. He said that if there would be a problem with my car in the future they would diagnose the problem and if they can claim it under warranty they will if not he can cut me a deal on the repairs.
This makes me much more comfortable upgrading parts on my A4.

Here’s the link for their website:

Does anyone know of any other dealers willing to install aftermarket parts?

Not that it matters now but the dealer I got my car from is actually owned by the same people that have the performance shop next door to them and they were willing to do my intercooler exahust and everything through the purchase of the vehicle.

Guess it just depends on the dealer.

good luck trying to make any sort of appointment to do your car. it took mark over a week to call me back and he did only after i called my salesman. told me they cant flash my chip and would have to send it out to apr to get it done. he didn't know how much labor would be and said he'd call me back with pricing info. guess what, 2 weeks later and no response, i got it chipped somewhere else. the appeal of anchor is great but they don't like to take care of customers who want to get work done.

I might check them out too will they work on Audi’s? When I spoke with mark he had told me the same thing with the APR tune, seems they have been having problems and need to ship them out.... I will give them a shot over the summer.

The question is, when you turn on your car, does it return the favor?

I had my car at the local dealer for its 45K service. While it was there I asked to see if they could raise the downpipe that APR installed. It scrapes going into my garage. I understand that the dealer probably was not the optimal place to ask about it, but I figured what the heck. They sort of freaked out and all, said they could not raise it up for me, and mentioned stuff about not wanting to affect my warranty. Nice enough guys, but obviously don't ever service Audi cars that have any aftermarket parts on them. I will just have to take the car to a local exhaust shop and have them do it, which will be a pain. APR should have gotten it right the first time and I would not be doing this. I know there is a whole separate thread about the low hanging downpipe, so I will stop my rant here.

i got my APR ECU tuned and APR catback done at anchor before this website or this "anchormotorsports" came out... Although mark did take his time getting back to me, giving me price quotes, and making an appointment to finally get my car done the work was great but at 125/hour a bit expensive, and quoted me probably a bit longer then i thought it would have taken but like i said the work that was done was great and I havnt had an issue yet...

I got my APR chip on my audi done at platinum vw..... they were great called the same day and was out in about 30 mins.......but if u bring ur car to anchor and they find that u didnt buy the chip through them (which they will know even with a security lockout) they will give u a hard time about it when it comes to service..... Trust me I know from experience....

Anchor Audi sucks balls~ i went there to look for an Audi and the sales people wouldn't even give me the time of day. i ended up going to Biener and purchasing there.

IMO, i'd never go back to Anchor Audi.

Crank, maybe. To the wheels (whp, as you say), not a chance.

Sales and service departments might be different. I avoided my local audi because the sales people were no help, but dropped my car off for a warranty item and the service dept was great. They gave me a loaner car and got the job done when they said they would.
