Hey guys, so the wifey is looking to get an A3. We built one on the Audi website and came out to $37,275.

    Your Audi A3
    Total Price*$ 37,275
    Engine
    2.0 TFSI® Premium Plus with six-speed S tronic® automatic transmission and quattro®$ 32,850
    Exterior
    Ibis White
    Interior
    Titanium Sport Package
    Black Interior
    Equipment
    Cold Weather Package$ 500
    Titanium Sport Package$ 2,000
    Open Sky Sunroof$ 1,100
    Destination charge
    Destination charge$ 825

At this msrp price, are you guys able to get near invoice? If so what #'s are we looking at here. I would think invoice is about $4-$5k below msrp?
What are you guys paying? Any info and recommended dealerships would be great. I'm in the LA Hollywood area.
    Thank you!

I think edmunds.com has that information. It has been pretty accurate for me. We just bought an A3 TDI. Didn't get too much off of list but got $1,000 owner loyalty off plus about $2k / 3k more for my trade in than it is worth.

Thought about it but it says you have to get the convenience package for another $1000 on top of the $2050 Navi so we're not going for it.

Not sure if this would help you at all or not but costco does a program that is within 100 dollars of invoice pricing. I'm not sure if this would help in your situation, but definitely you know that your getting a good deal. Hope to see some pic's of your new a3 soon.

So your msrp is about $40-$41k with all those options right? That's about 3k off, not bad.

This site will be your car buying friend, and you don’t have to have an Amex card to use it
The car they way you listed it you should be able to get it for around $33500 which is about $400 below invoice, you could also this pricing to try and negotiate with your local dealer.

You can also check the pricing on the www.truecar.com site

I just bought an A4 Avant this way and got it for $500 below, I did have to drive about 90 to the closet dealer that offered the deal but it was worth it.

I just did the price search. I found one dealer that will go below invoice and one that will match invoice. So the selected dealer will honor that price for you?

Yup they honored the price, they have too, to participate in the program. Some may try to pull the only on dealer stock crap, but how many Audi dealers have the model people want.

They gave me that price one I ordered.

On the website it does say "Your price relative to invoice applies to cars in stock for this model and trim".
One of the participating dealers emailed me and has one almost exact to my spec except for cold weather package. I'm sure he's going to try and push for this one.

Sorry to revive an old thread. We finally pulled the trigger today and picked up a 2010 A3 that was on the lot. They wanted to move it since they got a ton of 2011's coming in so we were aggressive with the price. Here's the specs of the one we ended up getting.

    IBIS WHITE
    COLD WEATHER PKG (PAW)
    CONVENIENCE PKG (PPX)
    OPEN SKY SUNROOF (3FB)
    SPORT PKG (PPS)
    PREMIUM PLUS PACKAGE (WPS)
    ALL-WEATHER FRONT & REAR FLOOR MATS (3PM)

    MSRP: $35,695
    Invoice: $33,895

The final price we got it for was $31,400. Thats almost $2500 below invoice. How'd I do guys?

Nice job! If you told them to forget it that you were just gonna pick up a Subaru they might have knocked another 500 off :)
