What holds up the side skirts on our cars?

In the middle of my car the side skirt that has been replaced is hanging down in the center. but i look up and there is a big hole in the body where a big clip of something goes. not just a normal bolt. does any one have a picture or comment of what goes up there! any input would help, thanks in advance!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

It's a 2 piece clip, one part goes up into the cavity and the other is a body clip that holds the skirt to the body by snapping into the clip in the cavity. It's purchasable from the dealer, but they're expensive. the cavity clip is $13/pop and the body clop $18 a pop. So if you're missing 2 whole clips you're already in about $62. They're proprietary too, so it's difficult to fix it without using the clips.

I'm starting to get used to this sort of thing. Is that bad?

i was under the impression it was held on by industrial strength velcro...either way, you could spend $60+ or spend $5 on the black double sided 3m tape...same thing happened to my car, used the tape, and has been holding strong for about a year now
