Key Fob charging??

I have keyless start option.
Does anyone know if you put the key fob in the dash to start the car does it charge the battery while it's in there??

I have a friend who has a Nissan Altima, and it lets her know when the battery is getting low in the fob, and to stick it in the dash for recharging.

this is similar to BMW's i believe that when you insert the key fob in the dash, it charges. it also displays when the battery is low.
