    Horn sounds "weak"

I had some work done on my car and now the horn sounds different, more wussy.

Any ideas? I've never heard of this. So any suggestions?

    Thanks...

Mine is the same - there is a dual horn system with a low toned one and a higher pitched one. My lower one went out so now mine sounds like a terribly high pitched VW Beetle horn... I did hear that you have to remove the front bumper to replace either horn too.

yes you have to remove te front bumpers on the c5 a6 in order to change either ur upper or lower pitch horns.
my upper horn is dead and i didn't feel like changing it its more time consuming to take out the bumper than anything so i just let it be.

Bummer... I was in an accident a little while ago and that's probably the culprit. Didn't think to have it checked while my bumper and front end was being repaired. :-/
    Could've had it done then

you never know your horn is weak until you actually use it. I live in Montreal I don't use my horn that much but I was in Manhatten on Friday and using a horn there is like using a turn signal..it's just common hehe
