The trunk release button inside the driver's door doesn't work. I've tried it with the door open and closed, car running and not, in gear, in neutral, parking brake on, etc. key fob trunk releases works fine, just not the door switch.

    Thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem. I've checked all connectors and nothing. To open the trunk i need to turn off the car and open with the key fob.

Look on the underside of the trunk near the handle, there is a key hole, I believe it's for setting the trunk in a "valet" mode, so it can't be opened except for with the fob.

Thanks guys.. All I had to do was use the key to open the trunk and leave the key at 6 O'clock position. I am able to use the driver's side trunk release switch to open it.
