Anyone have pics/diagram of headlight washer hose assembly?

I was looking at the front end of my car today and the previous owner had replaced one of my headlight washer hose's with a large clear/white automotive hose.

This white hose runs along the FRONT of my radiator and is very visible through my lower grill. its f#ckin' ugly and was clearly a half ass install job done by some garage.

a girl who parks right next to me at my apartment has like a '98 A4 1.8T (kinda beat up though) and I was looking at the front end of her car. she has no hose that I can see that runs in front of her radiator, just the small radiator tubes.

whats the deal with my car? Audi wants $75 for like 10 feet of black hose but I just want to replace the white one that was installed in the front. I don't know how the hose is installed though because I can't see one on that girls car. please help cuz I don't wanna pay Audi like $200 to install new hoses just because that white one is ugly. If someone has a scan of the Haynes manual or something or a pic of their car with the front bumper off that'd be awesome. thanks

mine has a clear/white hose too..I assumed that was stock...

yours is white too?
I have a 99.5 A4 1.8TQ also..

but the part dude at Audi showed me a roll of black hose. maybe it was for a different year.

hey I see!

that hose goes on three clips ABOVE the lower vents.

I bet mine came off the clips, thats why its hangin' low.

I've got Hibiscus Red overspray on my fogs and and lower grill, I bet the previous owner rear ended somebody and when they fixed the front end they didn't put the hose back in those clips. just let is hang.
