Who all is running these, and have they been working out well?

I have heard multiple different opinions on these...I have just put them in recently, and haven't seen any problems. I am replacing my injectors, and want to replace them as well if necessary.

I've been running them for a few thousand miles now without any issues.

I've ran stock platinums, NGK BKR7E coppers, and now the irridiums. Honestly, my experience has been a plug is a plug. My car has boosted well and ran smoothly on all of them and I have not been able to notice any performance difference.

If you don't run extra boost you won't notice a difference

Just put these in the past weekend. Very smooth and not start-up issue... but I am in Cali where it doesn't get that cold. Beats changing out the plugs every oil change.

I'm running a similar setup to yours. Whyd you switch to the 8s over the 7s?

Thanks for the ebay link above...quick question for anyone who knows. I see talk above about people gapping these plugs to a specific number, though at the bottom of this guy's ebay page it says "Donot Gap Iridium Spark Plugs". What gives?

prolly because its precautionary cause you can break the tips.... of the plug if you dnt have the right tool.... usually the 8's already come pre-gapped but check them anyways and gapp with precise accuracy you do not want to spend another 8+ bux on another spark plugs cause u broke the spark node

    Yup, exactly.

Someone posted this video on gapping while ago. While it might be obvious to some, and most of us know how to gap a plug, it's good info. Visuals always help too.

That and any excuse to embed a video is win.

    holy bump from the skies.

i run BKR7EIX's and they run great. their longevity is much higher than any other plug i've run, and when you factor that in the cost outweighs usage of any other plug that i've used thus far. in comparison to NGK v-powers and NGK platinum's.

in regards to using 8 EIX's i wouldn't just jump to a higher different heat range so easily. you should monitor electrode heat wear after say 5000 miles to determine if you need to go one step colder. basically you look at the electrode for the color change point to determine if you need to go one step hotter or colder from your current plug. that is if you aren't having detonation issues, or blowing up plugs.

Here is a great article written by someone on Honda-Tech. It has very very useful information. I have not yet reviewed in detail for accuracy, but should provide anybody with enough knowledge to diagnose engine running condition themselves.

Sorry to bump this thread up, but are these still the correct plugs for 2.0T coils (06e905115e) as well? I have an APR Stage 2+ car with a few additional mods...
