any one know where i can find these? ECS says backordered till march 30th

part number is 8E0 953 053 from what im told.

i was told that everything would swap over from my USDM single Xenon headlights but that was untrue resulting in me now looking for the turn signal sockets for the european bi-xenon.

It shouldn't be a problem for them to order a set of the euro sockets. I can get US parts here in Europe.

He does not need bulbs from my understanding, he needs sockets. Etka shows this part as bulb holder.

If a US dealer won't help, contact "lowestA4" aka "Jens", here on AZ, he lives in Hamburg and can assist you personally. He sells e codes and parts via PayPal.

I can also get E-code parts, though the price level in Finland is higher than in Germany. In fact, I have a pair of OEM halogen E-codes that I tried to open but never got around to it. I'd be happy to sell them if someone needs them. I also have 1 DEPO E-code halogen headlight with broken adjustment parts.

Probably asking an AZ member from Europe would be a good way to go. Or try to find it on ebay.co.uk or ebay.de

I know this is a stupid question, but what if you put the e-code turn signal sockets into NA headlights.
Would that make it so the ambers are not on while driving; only when the turn signal is on like in ecodes??

Yeah, as you figured since there is no applications, it's not on the dealer's parts listing.

PM "lowestA4", Jens will be able to get the sockets.

I thought you just wanted to swap sockets. Your OP does not clarify you are missing the socket.

Well i am under the impression that the USDM sockets do not fit the E-Code headlights because of there length. USDM being longer and from the looks of it hitting the lens in the e-codes. If this is correct I will be needing the proper sockets for the E-Codes

Layzie I have the exact same problem and am searching for 8E0-953-053A sockets as well! Just to clarify for everyone whos still lost. With the stock headlights that the B6 A4 comes with, the turn signal sockets are at a length where the bulb fits in snug and properly, with the new headlights (e-codes in this situation, I got angel eye projectors) the stock socket is too long when combined with the PY21W bulb (size of bulb cannot be changed) so the socket + bulb wont fit in the headlight assembly so what we need is a shorter socket being the 8E0-953-053 turn signal socket. Im just going to look online and order it. It better work. As well someone asked about turn signals not on while driving, Im pretty sure its just how the lights are wired (mine have the rings instead of glowing ambers while running) so switching sockets will only make the bulb not fit snug in the stock lights. I had a nice long conversation with a technician about this....
