    5x100 wheel on a 5x112 car?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I found a deal on a set of 19x9 wheels that I cannot pass up. I want to fit them on my B5 A4, but I cannot find 5x112-5x100 adapters to save my life. Any ideas of where I can source them?

That's all I could find. I don't know if those would work (probably won't) but I'm sure if you call them they could probably order them for you. ESE seems to have a lot of FK Automotive stuff.

Edit: Those would work. You want adapters for the wheels to go from 100 - 112, right? I mean, the car's a B5 A4 which is 5x112 so those adapters would work for you!

Actually I think these are to fit a 5x112 wheels on 5x100 hubs. The reason I say that is that you find them in the MKI TT and the 337/20th Anniversary Golf section, which are both 5x100.

But I'm still glad you posted that info, b/c I'm looking for these kind of adapters and I though the smallest was 20mm. The one you linked too is 15mm, which would work better for my set-up...

19x9 is an agressive fitment. Will the wheels et support the added 15et from the adapter, or even 20mm adapter. The rims need to be 55etish right? Sounds like a no go if going on a b5.

Hmmm really? Looking back at them that probably makes more sense.

    No problem!

And yea, forgot to mention unless the et is really high (like at least 45) you'll need to roll/pull/stretch fenders, possibly to the point of paint cracking and needing a respray. And for the B5's perfect offset, et 35, they would need to be 50 (assuming you use the 15 mm spacer) for it to be close to fitting. And even at that, need to roll the front fenders because they are still 9" wide rims.

What size tires are you planning on running? 245/40/19? A little stretch but I don't know how much more would fit, especially in the rear...

    Re: 5x100 wheel on a 5x112 car?

Thanks for the input guys. I found some from adaptitusa.com... kinda scared though, seeing all the gramatical errors on the site, and when you click the 5x112-5x100 adapters, the title says 5x112-5x108.... but I'm going to try it. As far as fender fitment, I'm pretty sure I will have to roll the fenders, maybe even pull them. That just gives me an excuse to paint it what I wanted (matte black, flame on). If it's too aggressive of a fitment, I'll just sell the wheels. I just can't pass up this deal.. and the tires are 245/40

You should be fine with just a roll up front. Rears might be a little tight but I'm sure you can make it work. Worse comes to worse, might have to get 225/40's to make it work. Wanna show us why these rims are so worth it? Maybe pics...
