really stupid poll (caliper decals)

i painted my b5s4 calipers silver and ordered some black decals off ebay for them. i got both "audi" decals in the audi text, along with the rings decals...and im wondering which one you guys think will look better on there because i really cant make up my mind. yes i know something like this is very trivial and dumb, but cant decide!

i have the S4 logo on my HP2s and im already tired of them. I vote for the rings bc thats what im doing next. OP I have several extra S4 decals if you want to trade me for some rings or 'audi' if you have them.

I've just finished the rebuild on my HP2's and I'm gonna get to the paint soon; I've been struggling with this same question. What I think I might do (though I know the majority of you will not approve) is use some leftover ABD Racing decals that I have lying around. I'm not usually one to falsify badging on my car, but they fit soooo perfectly and will look really nice IMO so the hell with it, after all stickers are removable!! And as for your question Nate, I vote rings all day...

not running out of things to do, just improving minor details. trust me...i have plenty to do. $8 caliper decals are about as cheap and any of it could get.

and eurooakly has those. FAIL.


as for the s4 decal....NO. i dont drive an s4, why would i do that? sure theyre s4 brakes but the car is still an a4. thats as bad as an s4 rear badge IMO. looks like the majority says rings, which i was thinking in the first place. so thats probably what im going to do.

they make brake caliper paint, just check out your local auto parts store

I have used both. The G2 is a great product. I have also used Dupli-Color Caliper paint. The G2 last much longer. the Dupli-Color is readily available and cheaper. If you use the Dupli-Color just spray the paint into the cap and use a brush to apply it. A hell of a lot easier than masking everything off.

this is the stupidest question ive ever been asked. i put s4 brakes on because they work a hell of a lot better than stock shitty a4 brakes. which you should know since apparently you have them. but the cars still an a4. like i said twice, IMO (in my opinion) s4 tags on an a4 is stupid. dont get butthurt cause you have them on your calipers and i dont like them. to each his own.

IMHO keep them just plain silver or black painted, skip the stickers.

as for the S4 stickers on brakes, that is just dumb. If you drive a Audi A4 don't put anything on the car that says S4.

I don't see anything wrong with advertising the "heritage" of your S4 brakes. I went with the Audi Sport decal, which I found to be a nice compromise. Its also something I rarely (if ever) see on anyone else's car. Here's a quick photo (in winter mode here, so wheels are a bit grungy right now):
