    Does the fwd have the hump in the middle of rear seats for the drivetrain
    in other words is the floor in the rear seats flat compared to a hump in a quattro?
    or are they the same?

    FWD doesn't have a driveshaft going under the rear seats. It's FWD. Do you mean the Quattros?

    He is just asking if it still has the hump for the drive train, or it flat through the middle of the rear seats. I have no idea however.... sorry I would imagine it would be different, and atleast smaller if not completely gone

    in most cars, they have that hump! even in cars that don't have an option for awd like previous gen lexus ES i often drove

    i think there is a hump but instead of the driveshaft, the exhaust runs through it....could be wrong.. i agree with Ryan T. same frame would be easier and probably less expensive than having to manufacture two.

    im pretty usre all models have that. i know in the Lexus IS i noticed a bump in the front passenger side that wasn't there in another one. I forget the difference, maybe the AWD but I think it was something else...
