    Hey y'all , want to fit 20x10's all round on my 2009 Audi A4 B8 SEDAN 2WD.
Want to go for this look & stance without any rubbing or guard issues, is this possible?

    Possible.

Dug back a few pages (post 2782 in this thread) and found this. 20x10 ET40, 255/30/20 tires.

    Thanks for your feedback mate.
The wagons have a lot more room under the guards than the sedans therefore you can get away with a 20x10 all around & in some cases 20 x 11.
I have been told I can fit 20x10 ET33 all around but I dont want to lose my ride & convenience factor by chewing out my tyres & guards.

No, they don't. You're thinking of an allroad. B8 Avants aren't any different than the sedan.

I stand corrected, thanks for that.
So, 20 x 10 all around no guard rub / modifications necessary?

This will depend greatly on offset and tire size of course as well as ride height. I am running 245's on only an 8.5" wheel, et28 in the rear and have a light about of rubbing as it is and I am far from slammed at around 25.25" FTG.

I'd be surprised if the front is any different from a sedan. The rear may be but obviously those don't turn so I would foresee fewer issues.

Any rubbing issue with 245/35/20 tires?

Just bought 20x9 et40, and would like a little be more tires, so I'm thinking going to 245/35 instead of 245/30.

Any other people running 245/35/20? Mine sitting on KW's and pretty low.

    Thanks

Hi guys. I just recently purchased a 2011 a4 ibis white prestige package, love the car so far but I do want to lower it and throw black wheels on it. I was wondering if anyone had a pic of one with esr sr01 and sr02 wheels. Also I want to maintain comfortable driveability so I don't want to go with coilovers and dump the car. It's my dd. But I do want a flush look and no I don't want to stance it. 19s I'd say is the biggest I'd want to go but I'd truly be happy with 18s. By flush I'd like to meet the same wheel look as my supra here

Thanks guys any info on wheels and suspension is greatly appreciated

Could you please post a straight shot from the rear to the front. I think that's the look I'm trying to achieve. Just trying to see how close to the fender line the wheels sit

Wow that was quick. But I'd like them to sit a little more flush. What offset would you recommend. Or just get a wider wheel?

My summer setup has the same specs and they are pretty damn flush...

The front wheel is turned slightly in that picture. You could run 18x8.5 ET33, but ET30 would be right on the edge of poking past the edge of the fenders.

I'm happy with the 18s. It's a good balance of comfort and looks. I have the 18x8.5 ET35 summer setup for this car:

And I ran 18x8 ET45 on the last car:

What do you guys recommend. Lowering springs? Or full coilovers. I somewhat want to keep the comfort for daily driving but I need to close that wheel gap

Most would say coilovers, but depending on how high you want the car it may not be possible. If you do springs, get the B12 Pro Kit (below). It's a matched set of shocks and springs so you won't blow your stock shocks and need to replace them, paying for labor twice. My black car was on the springs (not the set because I'm dumb) and the ride height was pretty practical. My personal tolerance for inconvenience with my DD is minimal so the OE sport suspension my current car has is perfect for me. Sets show up in the classifieds sporadically if you want to go that route.

If you don't want to loose the ride comfort a good set of lowering springs is the way to go! We run our comfort drop lowering spring with 18x8.5 et35 wheels and all of our customers have really enjoyed the ride quality for daily driving.

@turbomrdeuce Don't just do springs, get a matched set of shocks and springs or get coilovers. Yes the ride height is ok, as is the ride quality, but your stock shocks will blow in 10-20k miles and then you're paying hundreds of dollars of labor again to replace them.

It looks really aggressive in person. Rubbing wise, I get minimal rubbing in the rear, when I'm at a steep decline, hit major dips, and during hard cornering . The front doesn't rub at all. no fenders were pulled or rolled, and the height is lowered to a little less than 1 finger gap between fender and tire all around.
