    Headlamp Converter?

    Under the Exterior Lighting options in the Car menu of the MMI, I can turn "Headlamp Converter" on and off.

    What does this do? I can't find any reference to it in the owners manual.

    Hey...thanks for this post.

    I had inadvertently switched exterior lighting to "trip" mode when messing with the menus.

    Afterward kept getting the message on ignition "headlamp converter active:headlight range reduced" but was stumped after going through the user manual.

    All is well now...saved me a trip the dealership and any embarrassment.
