    allroad codes, help appreciated!

    Hey guys,

I just picked up an '01 2.7t 6mt AR and had it dyno'd last week to get a baseline prior to modding. After the dyno on the drive home while in manual mode, the ride height would not adjust to the selected height (didn't matter which direction i tried). I got home fine and figured I would let it sit overnight and see what the story was the next day... Well when I came out to the car the next morning, the rear (both sides) was on the ground, but the front still seemed to be in level 2 from the day before, and there is now a CEL light on the dash for the suspension. I scanned it and got the following codes:

    01400 - Suspension Level Control
    08-10 - Control Limit Surpassed - Intermittent
    01400 - Suspension Level Control
11-10 – Control Limit Not Reached - Intermittent
01780 - Sensor for Vehicle Leveling
    04-10 – Mechanical Malfunction - Intermittent
00774 - Level Control System Sensor: Left Rear (G76)
    27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
00775 - Level Control System Sensor: Right Rear (G77)
    27-10 - Implausible Signal – Intermittent

Car had no codes and suspension was working perfectly prior to the dyno, so I'm thinking a sensor or two got knocked loose or damaged in the rear causing the droop and codes, but I am looking for input! Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

At what height level did you dyno your car?

    what's the result of dyno?

they might have strapped your car down using the rear control arms. if they pulled the straps off they could have knocked the height sensor arms off, or unplugged the wires. the sensors are mounted on the back of control arms.

I would look at both rear control arms for a little box with a plastic arm mounted to the sub frame.

I'm not sure I'll have to double check... what height should it have been dyno'd at? I tried to find some background info on this before going but didn't have much luck.

Results were 183awhp and 228awtq, right about where it should be for a stocker I think

It did pump back up after restart immediately after the dyno, but dropped back to the ground in the rear overnight and won't pump back up on restart since. I disconnected/reconnected the battery and jackmode is off, no luck.

I'm pretty sure this will be the culprit, and will be checking this out at the shop on Monday...

Anybody have a diagram or anything of all the sensor locations (level control sensors and sensor for vehicle leveling)?

    Thanks in advance guys!!!

    Re: allroad codes, help appreciated!

Wanted to circle back and provide some updates for the allroad guys:

Checked the rear sensors on the control arms and both were knocked out. Put them back in and the driver's side sensor arm was visibly bent, passenger side was fine. Ended up needing to get a new driver's side sensor as they do NOT sell the bar/arm seperately, and problem solved.

Moral of the story: Be careful when strapping/unstrapping the allroad on the dyno as the sensors and arms can get bumped and knocked loose or damaged.

    Cheers!
