They are R770 cartridges with tial Vband 0.64 turbine housings and custom machined stock compressor housings from GT2860rs...

so does the dog box style trans have fairly good dd characteristics, or is it gonna be driven mostly at the track?

Dog box is typically only for the track. You better get some padding to keep that noise down if you are going to DD :-)
