that would have to go in the TIP that you make.

    N75 connections:

    1 - wastegate
    2 - boost source line
    3 - TIP or atmosphere

    1. on the pic the one that i have label "top of wastegate" is that labeled right?
    2. so the other label to "side of wastegate" is that label right?
    3. the third nipple can just be left open to atmosphere.

    No.

The N75 gets hooked up the same way no matter what your wastegate design is.

    In your pic..

The bottom that is labeled "now where does this go" is your boost source line from your compressor housing

The left goes to the wastegate

The right (longer side of the 't') goes to the TIP or atmosphere.

I don't know what the requirements are for your wastegate. Post up the schematics for your wastegate and we can go from there.

OK, still confused on where i need to connect "for my boost source" since my gt3076 doesn't have anywhere i can tell to connect to. on my k04 i see where it connects but don't see anywhere for me to connect on my gt3076 (will post a pic of the gt3076 turbo later today)

As for my wastegate will post up a pic little later today.
    TIA, really appreciate the help...

For you 30-76 you will need to tap the compressor housing or you can tap the turbo outlet pipe just after the turbo. You can vent the line that reroutes into the TIP to atmospher, or you can send it to the top of the wastegate to assist in closing it.

Yes the factor y type pipe: 034 motorsports sells them, but i just rigged it for now, until i put it my oil catch can, then i'll do it right and get the 034 motorsports replacement.

Car has been running for almost 2 months now running strong currently set at 14lbs , it runs great just no balls under 3K. do have a CEL since i started it up the first time. Will check out the CEL once ecstuning sends me my stuff, i love how they say "will be shipped in 1-3 days" it's been now 12 days and won't be shipped out until the 18th. For some reason i can't get my vag-com to work on my car, i've spent hours on end trying to figure it out but can't get it to work.

replace "greddy" with "N75" -- boost source IN on right, and "outlet" on left.

Also according to the "NO" and "NC" usual hook up manner, and my guess on the configuration of the N75... the "tip" barb needs to be plugged for this to work correctly.

It seems to me like this routing would allow the boost pressure (relative to the WG spring) to open the WG sooner??? It appears that Tialsport agrees with the majority of what you're saying with exception of blocking off the TIP port. Their schematic shows a vent between the top of the WG and the N75 (or whatever you're going to use) which equates to both the N75 and WG being open to atmosphere. SEE HERE

    But I'm a little confused...

Why wouldn't you just run the routing as the factory did, but leaving the "nipple" which originally entered the TIP open to atmosphere?

You can, but I always set mine up according to how all the NHRA SFWD guys set theirs up... which in my experience works a lot better, is a lot smoother, allows for WAY more boost to be held on a lower spring and is a lot more controllable. Granted, I'm not using an n75.... but all the n75 is is a duty cycle valve anyways.

A normal EBC duty valve has 3 ports... in, normally open, and normally closed...... which from my "guess" is exactly how the n75 ports work also.

    Re: N75 with external wastegate

    I can't argue with that...

I wonder how I would determine if the TIP port should be blocked or not? I'm guessing that it shouldn't be blocked since I will be applying pressures it was never designed for to begin with...

    Here's what I'm thinking:

UPDATE: THIS CONNECTION METHOD RESULTED IN SEVERE OVER-BOOST CONDITIONS.

been having issues lately with inconsistent boost currently run a n75 with a MBC. one run i'll hold 20lbs of boost until redline in 3rd gear. then another run i'll maybe get 15 lbs of boost in 3rd gear. i'm thinking my wastegate is "bleeding" will doin the above as suggested by 400HPA4 help this issue or getting stiffer springs for my wastegate help out. just not sure what to do next.
    TIA

if you have the manual boost controller set at 15psi, that would pretty much solidify that your N75 is on the way out

have MBC set at 20, one run i'll boost 20 lbs to redline then later i'll boost 15lbs to redline. then later that day it will boost 20lbs to redline.
