    I have a foul smell out the exhaust, slight black smoke on WOT (as per friends)
    The RICH code comes first, in about 30 miles after clearing and then comes the lean code probably to balance it out. exhaust still smells like rotten eggs (shit).

    Checked air filter, this has been an on going battle for a while now.

    P2196 = O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Rich (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

    P2197 = O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

    But those were your POST cat sensors, this issue is my PREcat sensors reading a mixture that is too rich... Whats causing the richness is the main question...

    I always suggest that people pull the sensors. Clean the sensor head and check the wiring/connectors for damage. Clear the CEL codes and see how soon they come back.
