2011 Audi R8 GT... production confirmed?

Disclaimer; I'm just a dealership salesperson and don't have any connections with Audi corporate... so you can take what I have to say with a grain of salt. Buuuuuuuut:

I don't want to get anyone in trouble at Audi Corporate, but I just got some very exciting news that I need to share with fellow enthusiasts:

I have heard from a reliable source that Audi has kept a lightwieght track focused production R8 project almost completely secret. A while back there was a little speculation about an R8 'clubsport':

I am told that it will be called the "R8 GT". It will retain the AWD system but shed over 230 lbs of wieght in sound deadening an fluff features and will use more carbon fiber. The V10 will put out 560 horsepower, and the body will have light aero work designed for downforce....

400 will be produced worldwide, and only 80 will come to the states. They said that Audi "conservatively" expects a 0-60 time of 3.6, but realistically the magazines will do 3.3 no sweat!

Production set for model year 2011... delivery sometime next winter/spring...

development drivers have driven regular V10s with the full 560 package and the magnetic suspension and netted less than 7:30. this is unofficial of course. it's actually scary how good the R8 chassis actually is. it's ahead of its time and it's only intrinsic defect, if you can call it that, is that it can't suitably cool a charged engine. something they'll fix for the next generation.
