B6 and B7 Headlight Wiring Diagram

Does anyone have the diagram for the pins on the b6 AND b7 headlight connectors (10 pin Halogens)?

Bump, I want to tap into DRL and not sure which one that is, I assume it is brown (DRL) and black for ground. Can anybody verify confirm?

I saw some russian schematic for allroad and it appears to be grey/red or grey/black, and brown for ground. Now I'm puzzled.

OK so no one replied, but eventually found out the pinouts for both b6 and b7. Thanks to helix!


Hopes this helps anyone doing a conversion or adding leds to their headlights!

I want to try to not have extra adapter I want to have a harness as if car had xenon to begin with.

I want to disassemble stock halogen harness and plug in terminals from it to xenon harness

and then run repair wire part from pin 11 to where ever it has to go in connector in cabin

but I need to know where each wire from haligen goes into xenon harness

Parimal, one quick question... I also bought some LED for my car.. Is there any way I can set them up so that I can just have the LEDs running, then LEDs plus regular lights? Sorry it may sound dumb this question but I'm a begginer doing this type of mods....

Yea just wire them with your drl lights/parking lights I believe the wire going to pin 7.

Hi everyone, i am a newbie here. and not so tecnecaly minded, so please please be bear that in mind...
i am trying to fit after market drl's to my a4 cab and saw this thred pop up on google,
my drl's have an auto dim (dims but not go out with headlight on) and a indicator function on them, i want to wire then up so they com on with the ignition on, dim when the lights are on and flash with the indicators, i know what wire duz what on the drl's , but dont have a clue on how to wire them to the pins in the head light plugs, any help on this would be wonderfull. thanks a lot ;-)

Don't get upset if they don't reply to you in like 5 seconds, LOL, especially people will less likely to reply to you if they see you throwing a fit.

Now regarding your question, the only way to make the dlrs blink with the turn signal would be to have them conected to the turning signal connections, I am not quite sure how to have them dim when the lighs are on, maybe running a seperate switch to have them off once you turn on the lights...

Should be plug n play. Did you have halogens to begin with? They should turn on when you turn on drl.

Does anyone have pictures of the headlight wiring going into the couplers for Xenon? I replaced the couplers by removing the wires and terminals, and then re-inserted into the new coupler. I only took a picture of one side of the coupler beforehand so I want to be sure I got both sides re-installed correctly. I would appreciate pictures or a chart showing terminal # and wire color. I really only need the R/S headlight (passengers).
