difference between k04s?

alright so im looking at k04s here and i see a k04-22 and k04-15 and k04-001 i believe the k04-015 is the one for my car but can i use a k04-022? also does anyone have any experiences with buy the k04-022 of the mazda speed 3/6, cx-7/9 and switching the turbine housing? is the only difference between the k03 and k04 the impeller on the compressor? if so, theoretically would it make sense to buy a mazda k04 and use my k03 turbine housing to make it work on my car? am i missing anything here? if this is the case i may buy a mazda k04 and switch turbine housings and wg actuators if necessary. any input would be appreciated thanks.

just get a k04-015 and call it a day, or better yet, a gtrs.

if you google you should be able to find the info on the turbine size of the K03 and K04. IIRC the inducers are the same size, just the fins are angled different. but your theory sounds good.

the whole point of my reasoning is that on the mazda forums k04s are dirt cheap compared to audi forums and if they have the same turbine housing to CHRA bolt pattern i may be able to use the turbine housing of my k03 and use the mazda k04

Its not going to work, the housings are different and I believe face the opposite way. Post a pick of the two in question, im sure "we" would be able to tell you

The k04-022 is from the TT225 and will not fit in the A4. Get a K04-015 and call it a day
