Anyone Know Where the YAW Rate Sensor is located?

Hey,


My YAW Rate Sensor is going in and out and I want to check the connections. I've searched and found that it's located behind the airbag on the A6 2.7t. Another post said it was under the back seat. anybody know the location on our cars?

I downloaded the Bentley Manual and still can't find it.

I would assume under the dash under the knee bolster. Should be in there... but I could be wrong..

Check under the rear seat cushion kinda in the middle.

My CEL went away, including YAW Sensor failure and EGT failure. This car just fixes itself! If they come back, I'll def. check under the back seat for that YAW sensor.

Its under the rear seat cushion, IIRC slightly to the left.

If you unbolt it/redo it up it will need recalibrating because it wont be back in exactly the same place. Been in one car this was done to (not an audi) and it kept slamming the brake on one side and inducing a slide :S
