    Dash air vent removal?

The pieces for my left center air vent snapped, so I can't adjust the direction of airflow. Anyone know how to remove this vent, and where I can find a replacement? Thanks.

Meh. Will i lose an air vent installing that guage? It'll be pretty damn hot on the drivers side...

Plus, my A4 is completely stock... do I even need a boost gauge?

    Re: Dash air vent removal?

It reduces some of the air flow, but doesn't block it.

If your stock you don't really need it, but it will indicate if you have a boost/vacuum leak. Plus it helps to "learn" your turbo, so that your always in the optimum power range.

And it will look way cooler than a broken vent

    Re: Dash air vent removal?

The vent just pulls out without taking off any screws, etc. Wrap a cloth around a flat-head screwdriver and pry it out. All louvers etc comes off easily and is easily reversible.

Who am I kidding? I'm never going to find time to mod this thing.

I would recommend the CIM vent pod setup. Much better setup for the price!

    ^^ Absolutely CIM FTW!!

And i vote go boost gauge as well, it looks a heluva lot better than a vent!
