We make one for the B5...I could make a B6 in an instant, nobody would buy and install though.

The stock roof skin will be stripped off the the car and this roof skin will be bonded to it instead...
I already have a carbon fibre overlay but it´s not quit up to my finishing standards... ;)

This new one will be perfect... ;)

Nobody will buy it because the installation is extremely difficult if you are not a bodyman and $1300 is a lot to spend before the labor for some weight reduction.

A mod like replacing the roof skin is not for everybody, in the custom car scene, you may see just a few. It is more popular on the M3 because the CLS has one from the factory and folks are building CLS clones.

That is awesome, make sure you use a proper adhesive to adhere it to the chassis, GM learned that mistake on the Z06. Thankfully they quickly resolved the error once it was noticed. I can't remember the type used for the M3 or even more exotic, the bond used for holding the frame together on the Lotus Elise, but they'd do well. GM may have their revised adhesive available over the counter from the Z06 as well.

Yeah I have looked around for the right kind of adhesive for it and´I think i´ve found it... Now I´m just waiting for the roof to get over here from the UK... ;)
