    Digital Speedometer

    Is there any way to have the "DIS" Drivers information display show a digital Speedo like the Audi A3 and TT and 2008 and forward A6's do??? I believe that the Later years of the B7 A4's have this with certain packages... I have an "06 A4 Avant with Lighting package and the digital Speedo would be a great addition to the color display...

    Ancient thread bump: I'm hoping someone out there knows how to enable a digital speedometer on our lowly Premium package A4's. I discovered today that the analog speedometer is 3-4mph off and it's driving me insane! Constantly resetting the average speed display helped me confirm my speedo was off, and since the car is able to figure out a more accurate speed digitally I'd really, REALLY like a digital speedo like our newer and more expensive brethren!

    You can get the P3 cars vent gauge and switch it to speedo.

    I want to just replace the gauge cluster with a newer one that enables such features the difficulty will be getting the car to work with it.

    If you are trying that route, might as well get the RS4 cluster so you have have a laptimer and oil temp display.
    Expenses in F1 have gone down since the 1960s because teams don't need an extra pit crew to help the driver carry around his balls when he is not in the car.

    theres a way to get a digital speed readout on the radio, for some reason it still shows km/hr on US cars.

    This. If you have a Symphony II+, you can just vag-com the radio to show your speed. Only displays it in KM/h but it is realiable appearently.

    Man, I hate the digital speedometer option. I change it anytime I get a loaner. It reminds me of my '86 Cavalier Z24's speedo that would flash at me whenever I exceeded 85mph.

    ha, every time I get a loaner I make sure to set the speed warning to 35mph before I drop it back off.

    I accidentally turned on the speed warning at 5mph in the RS4 on my way back from LA while stuck in traffic. Worst thing ever.

    My Audi dealer only gives me a Toyota Corolla for a loaner. I can't be evil and set a really low speed warning
