Audi Symphony System channel add on?!?!

ok so i've been trying to find out if through some grace of god (via VAGCOM), if i can add a subwoofer channel in the stereo audio settings (as pictured below). Some have speculated that it is only available on non-B&O audi systems. So im wondering y i dont have it, since i do not have B&O.

Can this option be enabled? (via VAGCOM or any other way)

Does anyone with a 2010 B8 A4/S4/A5 have this in there non-B&O system?

It might help to look at the differences between the A4 and the A6 sound systems. I had an A6 loaner a few weeks ago. It didn't have a B&O sound system, but did have the subwoofer setting you are looking at.

I'll keep you posted one of the guys coming over is sort of an expert with this Vag Com stuff, we'll see what he can come up with. We'll be changing the basic values for the non-canceling LED's, seatbelt chime, needle sweep, etc.

I added lap timer to that same list, and full phone voice command

There's another option to keep the drivers electric seat position in key memory but didn't have time to mess aroun with that one, so I still can not confirm (would be great for non- mem seats owners)

So I'm embarressed to say but Vag'ing the B6 was no problem, we get to the B8 and my buddy goes Oh Sh%t, we don't have the new CAN BUS cable. So needless to say we never got to the B8's...

Looks like I'll be upgrading a cable or ordering another newer one....

Unless anyone in the Hartford area can help me out...

i went through every A5 and A4 vag com setting available this weekend and didn't see anything pertaining to the subwoofer in the radio module

I actually just asked this same question yesterday on another thread. I sat in one A4 and one S4, both with Nav but NOT B&O. Both of them had the Subwoofer Level Control. Is it possible there is a different between the non B&O with or without Nav?

Seems to be consistent that we without Nav OR B&O do not have the subwoofer level control, how about those of you WITH Nav but no B&O??

Bump, I have no nav and non BO system. I don't have the sub feature but I'm thinking of adding or replacing speakers/amp. Would love to have this if I do. Anyone figure this out yet?

Thought I'd chime in for my first post on AZ. I have a 2011 P+ with a non-B&O system, but with nav and camera. I DO have the Subwoofer level. The Bass (assuming midbass) and subwoofer levels are different. I suppose this could be enabled via VAG if the 2010 and 2011 hardware is the same.

Different frequency ranges. The "bass" I think only controls the midbass or commonly referred to as the mids. The sub controls the lows, what would commonly referred to as the bass. :-) HTH.
