    BBS RC center caps?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
finally pulled the trigger on a light weight set of wheels for my 02, BBS RC 17 X 8's from the classifieds. Decided I didn't want to run 40 series tires on 18's on our crappy roads around here, and I actually like the look of the right style wheel in a 17 inch size. 17's are lighter too. My new tire wheel package will weigh about 48 pounds less than my factory sport wheel heavy tire combo I have now (52 pounds!)

Anyway, the wheels are missing two of the big BBS caps. anyone got one or two still laying around they could part with? Know of a good place to get them?

Also, I saw somewhere that some BBS owners have gone without that heavy cap and found a 60mm cap that fits the small center hole and ran that with a BBS or audi 4 ring sticker and left the lugs exposed. Anyone done that and have info on what they used?

Already checked there, and only found some lame looking black plastic snap in ones that were expensive and in England.

Greg, 1 is a start, and it makes it easier to find a single later to complete the set. Does it look like this?

PM me with what you want for it.

Yes, i think we can just bring it your way...I'll tear apart the garage today and see where I put it, I have the one spare VW one in the trunk on my spare wheel.

    Re: BBS RC center caps?

if anyone has a VW one, I think i can also just swap the cap out for a BBS one, so that might be a viable option as well. the logo caps are cheap, the full spin on thing isn't.

    Re: BBS RC center caps?

Just found out the ones for the factory BBS RC VW wheels don't fit even though they look identical to the ones I have on my other wheels. the center hole is smaller on the factory ones where the thing screws in.

These wheels have about a a 70mm threaded hole for the cap screw, and the VW ones are about 55 mm.

That sucks, I tore apart the garage today to uncover a couple for you. I just measured these and the center bore is 54mm.
