Car Lounge in Oakville

Has anyone had any experiences with the Car Lounge in Oakville, Ontario? I am thinking about buying a used car there but have heard mixed reviews. Your comments appreciated -- it's the first car I will have owned in 8 years, so I want to make sure I go to the right place. Thanks!

I just looked at the 2005 Audi A4 USP they have and the 2006 BMW Z4MC. The A4 is in nice condition and I was told it was accident free. I asked to see the carproof and it showed a $7k insurance claim on it! Whoops! The Z4MC was in rough condition and also had accident repair.

^^ every car there has had major repairs done. The S4 my buddy purchased from them had 2 -- $10,000 claims. But they told him it was clean/no accidents.

I bought from Car Lounge. They disclosed an insurance claim. Had my mechanic check the car and the damage appeared to be superficial. Keep in mind when buying used that any work not claimed through insurance doesn't necessarily show on carfax reports. It's a risk buying used.

Consensus on here is that you should maybe shop around a little more.

I'd stay clear of them as well. They are very nice to you until you find something wrong with the car you bought, then Syed and Nabil will play good cop and bad cop with you. Will even tell you to take them to court. If they do decide to work with you, they will give you a number of a mechanic that will never call you back.

Very bad service and unprofessional. please look elsewhere.
Bought a 2005 BMW X5 from car lounge, car broke down within 2 months of driving it. turns out it needed major engine repairs and warning signal light repairs. They were very rude and unhelpful. They're in the business of selling faulty vehicles to unsuspecting customers. Repairs ended up costing me $8000.00. I'm currently in the process of suing them.

Just from the comments in this thread I would not even consider dealing with them !! There are a lot of Audis on the market so you don't need to deal with a dealer like them!!

Go to JK Auto in Burlington, i bough a car from them a year ago, exactly what i wanted and exactly as described. They have lots of cars for great prices and if they don't have what u want, they will get it for you, i can put in a good word for you so u get a good price.
