engine belt was making a little noise so i got stp belt dressing on the engine belt. i did... and then i figure... hmm maybe i should use this stuff in the bushings of the suspension... so u turn the wheel all the way left. and spray some on those little rubbers... waited a couple of minutes... and start the car.. hmm now it has a new sound... grab some wd40 and spray where the sound was comming and it stops... but here is the deal... every time the car moves. makes a squeaky sounds.. turn the wheel.. squeak... push forward squeak.. breake.. squeak...

any idea how to correct this ??? i could use some wd40 :P it worked on the engine :P but i dont want to make it worse....

    thanks :P

Belt dressing adds tack to the surface. Exactly the opposite of what you want on rubber bushings. See if you can find some spray Teflon lubricant. It may bond to the belt dressing enough to eliminate the dressing "grip" that's causing the new squeaks.

If you know it is coming from the sway bar bushing just get some suspension grease and lube it up. My local Autozone has this stuff at the counter in little packs. Good stuff!

back from mexican autozone.. best thing i found was a " grasa para juntas homocineticas " which roughly translates to grease for homocinetic joints... which il proceed to apply if no one has an objection :P

hmm also.. those bushings look easy to replace.. wonder if they are.. they should be 20-30 dls for the set..

Petroleum based oils on rubber is bad news, it'll soften them up and they'll destroy themselves.
