They look great on GLI and .:R32 but I've been thinking about swapping my current wheels for a set of refinished RC's from an Audi. I usually don't ask for opinions when it comes to stuff like this but this time I just can't decide. Please don't suggest other wheels because right now that's all I can get.

not really feeling it because the middle of the wheel seems to protrude out (convex vs. concave).

    The stock A6 wheels were 17" x 7.5" and 5x112 bolt pattern.

The Jetta GLI and GTI version of the RC were 18" x 7.5" and 5x100 bolt pattern.

The ones you would want are the aftermarket version, known as the BBS RC306.

They are 18" x 8.5" and 5x112 bolt pattern. They were discontinued in 2005 and they are really hard to find at this point.

I have them on my A6:

Ain't that a C5 though? You're right though B6/C5 needs to be lowered to look it's best.

I agree that it looks good but, I get 25K miles out of a set of tires when I leave the suspension at the OEM ride height.

I used to lower my cars and play games with the excessive tire wear issues. Otherwise, I'd have lowered it by now.

Sorry that's wasn't a comment about the height of your suspension. Just wanted to see how wheels looked when the car is lowered

I considered them, too, and passed. The RCs don't look that great in Audi/VW fitment. The face is too flat. BMW fitment looks amazing b/c of the concavity...here's a couple from an E39 5 series...

The A6 2.7T's with sport package had them in 17's and were fresh.

Good thing you are getting at least 18's. These will look good - BBS typically doesn't have too much concavity, so don't worry about being flat.

I wonder if they make 19's?

That's because the wheels on the BMW are hella wider than anything we can run.

But I think the RC's look pretty nice on an Audi.

YEa I love the BMW ones. Been looking to get a set for g/f's 325. Buddy of mine just picked up a mint set for $350 from some small shop.

Anyway, just came back from a car show and met a dude with RC's on an Allroad and they look way better in person. I mean I've seen these wheels before but not on an Audi (in person).

I had a tire thread w/ real test data from Car and Driver on tires for our cars moved to the chatterbox last week and then meanwhile a thread like this that started in chatterbox gets moved here.. Riddle me this.. When you are looking for tire info are you searching here or the chatterbox? I thought so...

So these are a 5x100 bolt pattern. Do you know the offset on the rims as well? Would you cosider shipping them to Calgary Alberta Canada? Do they have rubber on them?
    Thanks

I LOVE RC's...and ran them on my Jetta, and on my Corrado.

However, I do not like them on Audi's...just don't look right TO ME.

i dunno i think they look wierd with the center cap that covers the lugs, i think if you get them get the center cap that only covers the center circle but, leaves the lugs visible to give it a little more concave look. thats what my friend did on his GLI before he sold it.
