ARP 11MM head studs are finally sorted out and ready to ship!

Finally! For real this time, these are done and ready to ship. We just received the replacement nuts in yesterday after the "diameter too big" fiasco. These ones are confirmed to fit and work, and they are ready to stock. These 11mm head studs are available from ARP for AEB and other 1.8t applications! We just got these IN STOCK here today and made them their own little spot on the shelf, but they are ready to ship! This is an ARP 2000 stud kit with custom nuts just like the 10mm parts. They will work in all early 1.8t's that used an 11mm bolt. They are also an option for those making BIG power and worried about lifting your head, you can chase the 06a block out to 11mm and run these bigger studs.

Picture does not show it, but it DOES include the ARP Moly Lube pack as well. I just hate those white packages on white backgrounds... :)

i thought they were coming out with ARP Bolts? Just like the OEM bolts but ARP 2000 grade bolt??

Anyways this is a GREAT addition for anyone doing engine work. I wish these were out a year ago. I went through SOOO many sets of OEM bolts... :-(

what is used to drive these, #10 polydrive? and what is the torque spec?
let's see... shaved valve cover, '52 cams and these head studs -and of course the main girdle

It's a triple square, not the poly drive... Hahaha... Torque spec is a whopping 95 ft-lb! That will hold some *stuff* down.

yeah these studs look just like the raceware set I run, but it looks like ARP are priced much lower.


95 lbs, wow. I am putting my head back on right now and the raceware are only 55 lbs which seems pretty low seeing that I am pushing 37 psi for boost.

I have them both in stock, these are way nicer then the raceware... I think anyways, and that difference in torque specs does have me second guessing the material of the raceware studs as well.

I read the instructions carefully twice for the racewares and they claim their studs are coated in a special anti friction blah blah so they only require low torque... I find it hard to believe it could really be that much lower friction then the ARP Moly lube.

Oh well.

For sure. Racewear guys are wierd too they won't make their price or their product competitive, I'm not sure quite what their plan is really? LOL
