Your headlights need to be turned on for them to work. Next time when you are in your car turn on headlights then wash windows and they will come up

Re: Square covers on front bumper?

Hold the windshield washer on for a few seconds, then they should lift up and spray. I believe they only come on if you have the headlights on, though. You can't really see them while you are in the car, but you will notice the headlights "dim" a bit at night when they operate due to the fluid spray.

These sprayers are also why your car seems to drink down more washer fluid than you actually use. If they don't operate, someone may have unplugged the secondary washer pump for them to conserve fluid as they are really unnecessary.

nice, thanks everyone. I love this car, i learn something new about it all the time. I love that everytime i get in it, it still puts a smile on my face...such a fabulous car.
** I probably never noticed the headlight sprayers because my window washer fluid won't even spray. I have to fix it. Could it be something simple as a fuse?

    I appreciate everyone's answers.

Re: Square covers on front bumper?

They are quite useless imo. I am going to disable them. The reason your windshield washers dont work is very likely either a fuse or bad motor. The motor is very easy to replace but not as cheap as you might want the fuse is way too easy and takes 5 min if you have to look for it haha.

Re: Square covers on front bumper?

Not only do they not work because the module fails 90% of the time, they consume too much fluid. Mine are completely removed =D
