2010 S4 tuning potential

How tunable will the S4 be and how much power can realistically be extracted from the new supercharged motor? Was browsing around and found a tuner in Germany claiming over 400 hp with almost 400 lb/ft of torque for the new S4.

Well the current output for the S4 will be 333HP/324Lb.Ft.

You can definitely pass 350HP with software alone. The question is will a pulley upgrade be possible so that they can raise the boost.

If they can change the pulley, then you're looking at a lot more possibilites with very minor changes.

The only limiting factor I have seen is that the intercooling is built into the stack between the supercharger and the intake manifold. If that intercooler is just big enough for the stock boost levels, it will suffer under increased boost.

Part #23 are the two intercooler cores.

You start entering dangerous territory when you start talking about pulley swaps. Just going from (fictitious numbers as I don't know the pulley size on the 3.0 SC engines) a 3.4" pulley down to a 3.2" pulley would make significant gains....but perhaps at the expense of some of your engine's vitals.
