    OZ Ultraleggera Lug Bolt Fitment

I have a question to those who have Ultraleggeras. Do you guys have ball seat lug bolts or cone seat? I just want to make sure that I have a correct fitment hardware on mine. I was sent ball seat bolts with my wheels.

Re: OZ Ultraleggera Lug Bolt Fitment

If they're like the Superleggeras (which they probably are) they are a special ball seat (R12 I believe) and slightly different from Audi OEM ball seat (which I think is R13). Tirerack carries the correct lugs if you're concerned about the correct lugs. But if they sit in the lug holes with zero play, they're probably fine.

Fractus, please give us a write-up on how these go. I am interested in purchasing the ultraleggaras but am scared about potholes and wheel bendage.

    Thanks!

Re: OZ Ultraleggera Lug Bolt Fitment

I haven't had any problems so far, and I drive to NYC from NJ every day. I try to be very careful as far as potholes are concerned though some are unavoidable especially in the rain when you can't see much. The ultrallegeras are excellent wheels, I must say. I had an 18" set on my previous car for about 15 months with 225/45 tires without any problems.

    A write-up for rims...ok here goes...

    1.) I bought them
    2.) I mounted them
    3.) I bought wheel locks
    4.) No bends over 1 year....mix of mild/aggressive street & light tracking

Im about to purchase a set, and I see you guys are talking about different bolts.
Are they required or what? I dont want to damage the wheels with oroginal bolts or will it be ok?

I have Ultraleggeras (as opposed to Superleggeras) and they're ball seat and I use the same bolts for my O.Z. as for my OEM (I use spacers for my OEM to have the same offset as the O.Z.)
