Mini-Cooper Supercharger on B5 A4?

From what i can remember, this is just a simple Eaton charger bolted up. Im sure of the tune, but theres no doubt that it makes much less power than the PES G1 or G2 kits. I believe a rather small charger was used.

I know no details, anyone else?

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but I'd say it's kinda dumb.

Why not run a super charger off of a GTP instead. At least that super charger is capable of flowing enough to make some decent power.

IIRC the Mini Cooper runs a Lysholm 1600, which is barely enough to make efficient power for the stock Mini. Sure they can run smaller pulleys, and what not to make more power, but it becomes less efficient. I've held those superchargers in my hands, and seen the difference between the PES G1 and G2's, don't waste your time on the Mini-charger.

Actually, the lysholm 1600 would be a great match for the 2.8. It is approximately 60% larger in displacement than the m62 the g1/g2 kits use. The Mini definitely doesnt run the 1600 stock. That would be like putting a gt35 on a 600cc motorcycle. That said, an m45 would be a horrible match for the 2.8.

I had a mini cooper s before my audi with the stock m45. My mods where a 17% reduction S/C pulley, 2% Crank pulley, cosworth head, shrick cam, 380cc injectors, WMI kit thats now in my a4, Volt 2.5 exhaust, custom intake setup. I was consistently putting down 230hp on a mustang dyno with a crappy tune. Without the WMI to cool the overworked supercharger, these numbers would be hard to reach. I was topping out at 18psi at redline.
