How to play music from my phone through car stereo?

Hi all,

A bit new here, trying to figure some out. I've got an Audi S5 2008 with all those features included. iPod jack, GPS, Technology package and etc.

I'm trying to find the easiest way to play music on my BlackBerry Storm through my car sound system. I do not own an iPod so that little jack is useless. I'm able to connect via bluetooth but only "calling" works. Even thou my device is compatible of doing so, my car is not compatible to play music using that same bluetooth technology. Atleast that's what I've been told.

Any tips on how to do so? I can't find an aux plug either and I'd rather not use an FM transmitor as the quality ain't that great.

Any way around it?!

the only way i see it happening is to buy an ipod. the quality is shit in the bb compared to an ipod

Thanks man! I sort of started thinking about it but hate to buy it when I have a nice player on my Storm.

Anything else that can be done? Perhaps an adapter from that iPod jack to like a mini usb or a regular headphone jack?

no, apple made the ipod jack so that nobody else could use it or even convert to it.

you can pick up a nano for 200 so it aint too bad.

Actually, if you have the AMI port, you can get the 1/8" stereo adapter which you can then connect to your berry. I have an 8830 berry which I connect through a 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter so i can stream Pandora through the stereo. You do not have to buy an ipod but ince they're cheap, you might be incluned to buy one anyway
