Re: just installed a real B6 USP Front Grille from Germany

You probably cannot find it b/c your hood grille isn't OEM.

Looks like a Caractere grille, but I could be wrong on which aftermarket grille it is.

looks awesome! where did you purchase it from, and how much if you don't mind me asking? you'll definitely need to black out the lower grille if you don't plan on replacing it any time soon...looks very odd with chrome only on the bottom.

sorry but it is OEM out of Germany (I love when people think they "know"). Part # 8E0 071 550 Votex GmbH. The dealership I found who had it was Stafford Audi (http://www.staffordaudi.co.uk/) I have the parts manager email at work, email me at [email protected] and I'll forward it off to whomever wants it.

Re: just installed a real B6 USP Front Grille from Germany

It's not a USP grille. It's the grille that was supposed to go with the Votex bodykit. The Votex kit had a mesh lower center grille, but never had the hood grille. Now we're starting to see it pop up over in Europe.

You could try to find the lower center mesh grille from a Votex kit, but they're hard to find. I don't even know if it would fit the USP or require some custom modding to make it work.

Re: just installed a real B6 USP Front Grille from Germany

Front lower Votex grill is 8E0 071 613 A 041, it is not a direct fit on the USP lower spoiler and you would have to take a USP lower grill and combine the two to make it look halfway decent. I can sell it for $140 plus shipping

The Votex grill he posted up does not need to be purchased overseas and can be bought at any dealer. The true part number is 8E0 071 550 041 full retail is $204.91, I can sell them for $185 plus shipping.

if anyone has an option for the lower grille please IM me, I think it looks like crap with the standard piece in. I could not find any dealer around me who had the top grille, and price was only $90 plus shipping, total was $140. Guess I got a deal by going overseas vs. buying in the states.

One option you may try is DIY using the expanded metal mesh. Search for Matt Devo's DIY on the USP lower front. It will look almost identical for fraction of the cost.

No it does not, it is not made for a stock bumper but rather the votex bumper, which is add on piece.

I sell anything that Audi makes, however I do not list everything Audi makes on my site.

if you could get both center grills in the same mesh as the USP side grills, that would rock.

You Apparently don't know what your talking about that is not a Europe USP Grill or S-line as it original name don't know why you Americans have to have own name on everything, that is a Votex Grill you Said it yourself Quote: Part # 8E0 071 550 Votex GmbH, and in the link you can see a A4 whit full Votex Styling except the grill he has ABT Grill, Votex is VAG original styling line that you could purchase whit new b6 back in the day

Ummm, you're a little late to the party. But to answer your query, we have to make everything American because the USA is clearly better than everywhere else. But seriously, there is some confusion because different parts are available in different countries. On top of that, some parts that are the same have different names for different markets, such as the USP or S-Line parts.

You could try and find Euro B5 RS4 grills, which I believe have the same mesh style. Either way, you will have to customize it and use a stock grill surround.

PS: That's not an ABT grill on that car you posted the link to. ABT grills have two bars, not one in the middle.

That is not a euro UPS or as we call them S-Line A4 grill.

Heres my S-Line which is no different to a normal grill.

The OP never called it a USP grille. He just said that it would look good on the USP and that it was an OEM part.

Re: just installed a real B6 USP Front Grille from Germany

For the hood grille, there never was any special Ultrasport (or S-Line) version. All A4s had the same grille. What was posted above is an Audi product, made by quattro GmbH, that was supposed to be included with the Votex body kit that was offered through the Audi dealers for the B6 A4. Unfortunately, the hood grille was never included. Now, the hood grille is showing up on websites and eBay as it seems that companies are now trying to unload their inventory.

I'm seriously debating if I want to swap out my custom grill for this. I would still need to make a custom lower center grille (using material from the Votex kit) to match the hood grille. I'll have to post some comparison shots and see which looks better.

Looks exactly like the Caractere upper grill, which sells for much more than $185. Also, the surround on the Caractere is more like the OEM grill (thick), where as this Votex one is thin. I like it more.

Greg how much would shipping be to NJ? I can PM you a zip code if you like.

As for the ABT grill you are dead on, my bad i had just a fast look at the car, i can see it now that it's not a ABT, have any idea what it is ?
