Ok so I am going to make this real quick... my A4 started acting like a coil pack or 2 went, so I changed the plugs, and put in a new coil that I knew was out (after testing it out).

It worked, and my car wasn't idling badly... however I took it to Advanced Auto (from here AA) and had them hook up their OBDII reader, and this is what it read:

    1. P0300 : Random Multiple Cylinder Misfire
    2. P0304 : Cylinder 4 misfire
    3. P0351 : Ignition Coil A. primary/secondary circuit malfunction
    4. P0354 : Ignition Coil D. primary/secondary circuit malfunction
    5. P0301 : Cylinder 1 misfire

Ok so Im not a complete idiot but on a vertical scale could someone help me understand what the top CP represents and all the way down through the last one.. 1-4 ; 4-1, a-d, d-a... .I dont know so please help me out. I appreciate it very much any help I can get.

^What he said. Also, make sure to have them clear the codes before you have it scanned again to see if the problem went away.

    It happens.

But if it happens again, then chances are your CP are fine.

    It might be your MAF.
