How do you remove/replace door sills?

Absent me going outside and yanking on my car, can anyone tell me how you go about removing the old and replacing with new? I'm thinking about upgrading them, and just want to know what is involved...

I'm assuming tabs, or some double sided tape or a combo of the two?

Upper or lower ones?

if you talking about replacing wiht s4 door sills (aluminum ones) all its held on by is tape.

There are phillips screws (2 per blade) you can see them when you open the door. SUPER easy

^^ dont think hes talking about doorblades but who knows. the actual door sills are still held on buy tape no matter what, from what i recall on my s4 set i had. they are same as all others i would assume.

I'm talking about the door sills, not the door blades. The part that covers the lower edge of the door opening.

So it's just tape? Like get something wedged underneath and then just yank up on it?

i cant remember where i saw it, but i think they are called scuff plates. and i am interested as well. im trying to run my power wire for my amp along there.

They might also be called that, but they are called door sills.

Just swapped some. I used a rubber spatula to lift the corner and gently began lifting with my hands until they were off
