Throttle body alignment....How to do?

I remember seeing a way to do a throttle body alignment in a post awhile back. I've tried searching but can seem to hit the nail on the head. Was just wondering if someone could tell me how to do it or re-direct me to that thread.

You searched...really? All I did was search "throttle body alignment" in the B7 forum and a crap load of threads came up. What terms did you use, other than the most obvious...?

I got it about 2 weeks ago some guy on here was selling it for like 200 bucks so i jumped on it as soon as i saw it. Yea, you could borrow it just gimme a call.

Didn't take it personally. I could see where he's coming from, i'm just not usually the type to ask questions so wasn't expecting that. But like i said before I appreciate his response.

Lately it just seems that everyone is starting threads in this forum just to ask questions that others have spent significant time detailing answers to, most of which are included in the Stickys and easy to find.

I just did mine this morning..will report back.

From memory... Turn the key to the aux position (right before ignition), push gas pedal to the floor and hold for five seconds...while still holding the gas, turn the key fully off, but leave in the ignition. Release gas pedal and wait for 2 minutes... start your car and drive.

i thought it was three seconds... idk i just count slowly to three to make sure so i probably do it for five anyway lol
