So, as many of you might have read, i f'kd up when doing an oil change and accidently drained my transmission fluid. According to numerous of sources, i need a special tool to be able to fill the fluid up, so i was looking online and came across a hole setup kit from BLAUfergnügen! Inc and i was wondering how many of you guys ever used this kit and how it worked. How was the special tool aswell?

Hmmmm, you drained the transmission fluid without the special tool bit? It is the other way around. You need the tool to drain the fluid and an allen socket to remove the fill plug (can not recall what size though). What year is your car? And you don't need a special tool to refill your tranny fluid, just a suction pump (can be found at an auto store for no more than $10). I found it easier to place all the fluid needed into an empty gallon water carton and fill from that.

16mm security 12 point triple square. Snap-On actually has these sockets on CLEARANCE! I bought one for $10 off their site a couple weeks ago.

I just gotta know, how the ---- do you dump your transmission oil while attempting to change your oil?
-and not just the OP, it sounds as though he isn't the only one!

Rarely would I ever suggest that anyone should take their vehicle to a mechanic rather than turning wrenches themselves, but if you don't know the difference between an engine and a transmission...
the least you can do is educate yourself.

(Hmmm.. I have NO FRIGGIN CLUE what this is, but I'm going to disassemble it anyway! ah! fluid is pouring out, I wonder if this is where the blinker fluid goes?)

    -wow
