    ABS/ESP/AirBag Light after removing seat.

I went to the track last weekend and took out my rear and front passenger seat. I unplugged the 3 plugs that were under the front passenger seat.

Airbag light was obviously on when I had the seat out. Now, after putting the seat back in and plugging everything back, the ABS, ESP and AirBag light stay lit.. any ideas?

I just removed my steering wheel and after reinstalling have this same problem....airbag light on immediately and abs/tc lights on after I start driving. I'm going to try to reset with vag-com.....but if that doesn't work, any ideas?

it will reset just fine with VAGCOM. anytime an ABS sensor gets unplugged, even for a second, it must be cleared with VAGCOM.

Ok, just cleared the codes with vag-com. The airbag goes away, but as soon as I start driving, the ABS/ESP lights come back. The code I get is 00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85) 37-00 - Faulty

you probably need to re-calibrate your Steering Angle Sensor:

sorry for raising the dead, but if you were to disconnect the battery first, and only reconnect it after everything has been reinstalled, will it still need to be reset?
