    Best Exhaust for a B7 2.0T

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
As the title states, I am looking for what you guys think is the best sounding (not too loud) exhaust for the 2.0 A4. It's for a buddy of mine that wants to modify his exhaust.

I think that the top two choices are currently AWE and Milltek. Any other opinions appreciated.

AWE's decently loud. My preference is the APR for a more subtle deep sound.

Mike, do you have any cars on site with that exhaust. My buddy would love to hear one and possible order one up.

    Re: Best Exhaust for a B7 2.0T

How loud an exhaust is really depends on the person listening. What you think is loud might be an ideal level for me and vice versa.

My advice, find a local car with our exhaust and have your buddy listen to it in person.

Let me know if I can help with anything!

I just got my APR exhaust put on earlier in the week. Love it!!! Nice subtle tone, not too loud. I got the stage 3 as well.

Hit me up if you want to check it out. I might go up to San Clemente tonight to pick up some springs for my roomate. Let me know if you want to meet up.

    2nd. Ray's STaSIS sounds great.

As for Thermal, talk to Dave. He can let you know his thoughts on that specifically - but come to thing of it, Dave's car may have been the V6, not the turbo...hmmm.

3rd, just heard it last night, plus I'd usually go w/ Stasis if they make something for my car...

    I just bought a 06 B7 2.0T S-Line w/tiptronic.

Now that you have had your exhaust for a while, how has it worked out for you?
I'm going to do an exhaust on this car, any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Rebithing an old thread here.....

I have saved enough coin to pull the trigger for an exhaust on my 06 A4 2.0T Q S-Line w/tiptronic.

How has your aftermarket lived up to your expectations?
    Thanks,

Just get a Magnaflow system from performancepeddler.com

It's the cheapest, one of the best sounding and quality pieces out there for our cars.

AWE would be the best bet for best sounding, but it is a bit louder.

Looking to get an exhaust for my b7 a4. Trying to stay under $1000. I found this borla system for what I think is a pretty good deal. Any thoughts.

    Go Here

Now if you want an opinion, I don't like Borla Exhausts personally. I have an AWE system on my B7 Avant.

Now if you want to save money, just look around the classifieds. You'll find a member selling a used exhaust system every once in a while. Some members goes through cars and mods like peanuts, so you'll always run into a good deal.

i'd call Raz or Dave Auto Union Tuning - they can build a custom exhaust for you based on what you want.

Anyone have the STaSiS exhaust on their car? I know they went out of business. Right now you can find some great deals on left overs. If you, or someone you know, have had one of these exhausts, please share your thoughts with me. Thanks all!
