I am in need of new tires and my dad has some of these laying around, wondering if they will fit at all? Doubt they will be it will save me money from buying new ones.

They are 255/45/18, kinda big, not sure if my a4 can cope, it is 1996 quattro

    thanks!

It really depends on your ride height and offset of your current wheels. But most likely not

im gonna guess no. the aspect ratio is too high for that width tire. 255/35 may fit though.

45 profile tires on 18's wont clear the rear arm.

on stock suspension with a ridiculous offset nope..
That control arm is gonna hit the rim and your fender will chew up the tire.

Not a chance in hell would they fit, I had 255x35x18 on my RS4 body A4 so you had no chance.

Currently running 255's, but modifications will need to be made to say the least. Wheel offset and rear CA clearance is critical.

    Re: Would 255/45/18 fit?

^^^^ No doubt that 255/45/18 is huge. I don't think there's a chance of running a tire with that aspect ration on the vehicle.

This site is very helpful for offsets, tire and rim sizing for your vehicle.
