Question about wheel spacers, B7 S4

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I'm about to pull the trigger on some wheel spacers from ECS, but just wanted to double check that I'm picking up the right thing.

    I've got the OEM BBS 18" wheels and 235 40 18 rubber.

Are the ECS - VW / Audi 10mm Spacers & ECS Ball Seat Bolt Kit the correct measurement for this application?

In particular I want to confirm that the 10mm is fine for both front and back, and that the OEM BBS wheels are Ball Seat, and not Conical Seat.

    TIA.

Re: Question about wheel spacers, B7 S4

You should get bigger ones in the rear or smaller ones in the front if you want front and back to be even. Stock, the rear wheels are more tucked on our cars. I'm sure you can go up to 15 without problems, so 10 should be perfectly fine. Don't know about ball or conical seat.

if you are running stock sport suspension, you could do a 20/20 or 15/20. i have konis and springs, so i went with 10/15. you could do a tad bit wider f&r, but i'm happy as is.

yeah, I am going 10mm in the rear and 8mm in the front very soon. As per what xzone909 said, at stock, the rear wheels are more tucked on our cars. You don't want those front tires sticking out too far. Just make sure they are hub-centric and all that jazz. Post pics when you complete-

I think all OEM wheels (the BBS included) are ball seat. I'd probably do 12 or 15 in the rear and 10 in the front. Your offset is +43 (the Avus's on the B6's are +45) so I probably wouldn't go with the 20s.

Do you need longer wheel bolts running 10/15mm spacer with stock 18"

you can buy spacer/bolt combos from ecs that will be the correct size you need. i believe stock bolt size is 27mm. just add what ever size spacer you get to that to get the proper length you need. also, you'll need ball seat for oem wheels.

If your running factory wheels I would suggest 15mm front and 20mm rear. It looks great, totally flush. Im not sure if your running stock suspension though. I am selling my set, machined hub/wheel centric Motorsport technology spacers. With bolts. PM me if your interested.....
