Proper size hose for oil catch can setup?

I'm in the process of ordering supplies for my catch can setup, and I'm stuck on deciding what size hose to run. I'm going to be connecting everything with braided line and AN fittings. I'm thinking -12 or -10 line?

-10 is what you want, -12 is just way too big.

    This is -10.

Is the factory nipple on valve cover threaded in or pressed in?

That's what I was thinking. I want to go as small at possible to aid in routing.

I have three more questions though for ya.

    1. Where did you find black AN fittings? I'm not having any luck finding a black tee fitting to go into my valve cover with -10 AN's on either side.

    2. What is that other hose going to in the top right of that picture? Is that for the brake booster?

    3. Is the line going under the fitting in the valve cover going to your fuel rail?

Pressed in. I'm buying another valve cover to extract the fitting and then thread the hole.

    1. Summit Racing. Link to Black Summit -10 AN hose ends

    2. The other -10 goes to my crank case breather spot on the side of the block under the intake manifold.

    3. Yes, the -6 braided line with the blue/red AN fitting is my fuel feed line.

Your awesome! And that actually the next question I was about to ask. Whether I need a 90 to a straight fitting on the block breather.

So why do you have the block breather going that direction? I was just going to tee them at the valve cover, go over to the catch can, then route it back to the TIP to create a little vac. Then depending on if I go mafless on a BT setup I was just going to get a valve welded to my DP.

Routed it that direction so the line would run behind the head and into my custom catch can that sits in the stock battery spot.

To catch the oil in the vapor that is being sucked out or pushed out of the crank case and valve cover as the pressure builds up when the rpms increase. The stock setup allows the oil to get sucked into the intake, thru the turbo and tends to collect in the IC pipes which will then end up causing reduced flow by blocking up the SMIC or FMIC core. The stock setup is done for emmissions so that the oil vapor is burned as it goes thru the cylinder, but this decreases the amount of power the engine produces.
