Cost to Repair Rim

Yesterday while driving to Birmingham for the Memphis Vs. UAB game (go tigers) I hit a HUGE pot hole on Highway 78. About 10 miles later down the road I have a blowout on the front right. I didn't think anything of it and gifured the tires were just old. Well I just looked and it turns out there is a .75" crack in the inside (towards the center of the car) part of the wheel. It must have slowly let air out which cuased the tire to fail.

How much do you think it will cost to have the wheel welded back? I will try to post pictures once i get the tire removed.

Up here, the going rate is $125. - $150. per wheel

Yup. But be aware that I had some wheels welded back in the day and the weld didn't last. It eventually failed.

$125.00 in Connecticut and that includes powder coating the wheel after.

Are you running aftermarket? If not, just throw on the spare and keep the welded/cracked rim as your spare.
