How can so much BAD ISH happen on such a beautiful day...?!?!

So yea im up all night and my mood is slowly getting shittier so i decided to tell you all about my day (pretty much the last 36 hours).
So first of all i was supposed to have 2 big and hard tests yesterday. I was up the whole night before studying and prepared for one of the tests. Then i decided to take a 20 min nap. Overslept, woke up 4 hours later 5 mins before my first test started. Ran there, missed the first 10 mins of it and it was hard as hell. Then i went to my next test which i didn't study for at all cuz i was asleep. Failed that. As im walking out i realized that my chain got unlocked and my cross and other little gold pendant slipped off somewhere.
So i come home, chill out, start doing work and preparing for a lab test that i have today.
At 2:45 am the fire alarm starts blaring. Thats a once-in-a-month kind of a thing at a frat house so im not really concerned. I walk out and see water trickling down the wall and realize the penthouse above me is flooded and theres a real fire. One of the guys is running around waking people up and i grab fire extinguishers and go up. The whole room is filled w/ smoke and i see the blaze at the farthest corner. I empty 2 extinguishers and almost pass out from all the smoke. The fire seems to die down so i go to my room, get a shirt, soak it, wrap it around my face, get 2 more extinguishers and go back up to check. Its as if i wasn't even there before. I empty the other 2 extinguishers and start to get really lightheaded again. Idk where the other extinguishers are so i check some rooms to make sure everyone is out and leave as well. The cops who came already yell at me and im soaked and pissed to so itell him to go f himself... he didn't like that and said something so i verbally unleashed at him until people pulled me away.
Fire fighters put it out eventually and tell us that we probably wont be able to move in till after spring break (that starts next friday).
Theres alot of other bad details but ive written enough as it is. All in all, the last 36 hours blew monstrous rhinoceros dick.

Cliffs:
Overslept part of a test
Failed another test
Lost my cross and pendant
Have a bunch of other stuff due today that i didn't do
Had a fire
Breathed in as much carbon monoxide as my system could handle (the cig after balanced it out : ))
Don't have access to my room for a week and a half or longer

Or not. Just be thankful no one was hurt, and you all made it out OK. I would have probably knocked the cop out though for being a dick.

Sorry to hear about all that Tver. Glad to know you got out of the fire situ ok.

Whenever I lose something that is meaningful to me, I try to think it will find its way to someone else that really needs it at that moment.

If your family knows about the lost pendant and cross and they will probably give you another set that will carry forward the tradition of being your best talisman.

PS You could tell your profs that you felt uneasy and unable to concentrate the entire time leading up to the fire at your frat. They might understand and give you a makeup exam. Good Luck!

tnx for the kind words. Penn State is just fing with us now. Petty much at 4-5pm the fire marshall and codes guy told us that we have to move all of our shit out of the house by the end of the day, the house will be completely sealed and chances of us getting back into it are slim as shit. Meanwhile this is all happening during PSU's legal attempts to buy out the land and plant a few trees in place of the house. The frat next to us coincidently got disbanded a week ago. I did get some pity points from some of my professors. Too bad there are no female engineering teachers - i would have been set for the semester. Haha btw this is our 3rd fire in a year - the worst, but 3rd never the less.
