That was my guess too. That and the fact that his light dial is NOT peeling..... bastard.

yup thats it... lol to the Neutral comment, Im hoping that it was sarcasm... but yea, i got a new switch a month ago, and now it Turns itself on and sometimes the light that keep the switch on turns off... i have to wiggle it around for it to go on... noticed this problem when a valet car driver put my car on, and the lights went on, im like wtf auto lights?! lol

headlights/interior lights are on when headlights switch is in the OFF position

I had the same issue, my headlights used to turn on by themselves it was the switch urs may be defective mine is all the LED's burned out after 1 year.

you know... its amazing how low the gas needle can go before the car actually runs out of gas... so what's the consensus... do i need a new headlight switch? or should i just sell the car and get a manual to get "apply brake to select gear" message off the dash lol?

i was actually learning the past couple of weekends on my cousin's e39 m5... im not 2 bad... didn't even stall too much, but to reverse on that car is so weird... i wanna get stick but its like impossible to just switch cars

Except for light switch ( VAGed I guess), don't you need to be in Park to start a car? At least all American cars had that issue. And yet your car is running with that dialog on the screen. Very puzzling.

when my light switch is in that position that dashboard light is on and it means my fogs and DRLs are on...
i might be missing something
